Trees for Jane is an International grassroots campaign to protect and restore the world's trees and forests. This initiative is inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN messenger of Peace.
Jane speaks globally about our shrinking forests and how this results in intensifying climate change. Through restoration, Jane spreads the message of HOPE.
So roll up your sleeves and plant your own tree or donate to causes that plant for you. Beyond helping to save the environment, trees are good for personal health. In urban areas they provide shade, beauty, joy and it is also a good way to connect with nature. Trees bring people together in many ways! For more information you can go to treesforjane.org.
"The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The next best time is now."
